HOBY Rhode Island is a 100% volunteer-powered nonprofit that has been developing young leaders across the state for nearly 6 decades.
Through our annual three-day seminar and ongoing service initiatives, we help high school students discover their leadership potential and inspire them to make a lasting impact in their communities.

Come join alumni from around the area as we host our second HOBY Lake Taco fundraiser night! 10% of each meal purchased will go towards HOBY Rhode Island, so help us start our 2026 year with a bang!
Impact in Rhode Island
Over 120 students have participated in HOBY Rhode Island in the past five years.
50%+ of alumni go on to hold leadership roles in schools, communities, or professional organizations.
Alumni from the past 15 years have become Fulbright Scholars, entrepreneurs, doctorate holders, and professionals at top global consultancies.

If I hadn’t come to HOBY, I wouldn’t see what other people have seen in me when they say I am a leader and someone who stands up for others.
